What is Samu?
Samu is the practice of mindful work—sweeping, cooking, gardening, setting up a zendo—with full presence. It’s how we take care of the space and each other, not as a chore, but as a continuation of meditation in action. Practicing samu helps us bring awareness into our bodies, into movement, and into community.
Opportunities for Samu are offered on Sundays and several times a year on Saturdays.
